With extensive hosting experience and thousands of reviews across their properties, they are known for clear communication, smooth arrivals and thoughtful touches that help guests feel at home. Living on-site, Freddy & Alina and their team are nearby if needed, while still giving guests the privacy they value. Their goal is simple: to help you unplug, reconnect and leave feeling refreshed.

We totally get it – they are part of the family! While we’re big-time animal lovers as well, the National Park has a strict no-pet policy. We’ve noticed that this often means they have to be left behind while owners are out enjoying the park. So they end up having a less-than-fun day cooped up alone, which can lead to damages and big messes to clean up on our end.

Yes, we offer Wi-Fi! There’s no password required, connect to Rock’N Dollar Ranch- Guest. While our system is modern and reliable thanks to Starlink for messaging, email, and browsing, please keep in mind that we’re on a 300 acre ranch and surrounded by 17,000 acres of the Big Thicket National Preserve.
Select properties are suitable for family reunions, church retreats and group stays. As Rock’N Dollar Ranch also operates as a venue, there may occasionally be events on site.
Yes, fires are allowed! Each property has it’s own fire pit, and firewood is provided free of charge for all guests! We kindly ask that you take only what you need so everyone can enjoy. We recommend you bring your own fire starter and long handled lighter. Enjoy your fires, and thank you for helping us maintain this amenity for all guests!

We are located in a rural area in Lumberton, Texas. Largest 2 airports are 90 miles away in Houston. Bush Intercontinental and Houston Hobby. Uber would cost at least $100 each way from those airports; we recommend a rental. We do have a regional airport, Jack Brooks in Jefferson County, about 20 miles away. They have very unreliable daily flights from Dallas.
In addition to quality towels and linens, our units also come stocked with coffee and tea, hand soaps, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper and shower soap/shampoo. If at any point in your stay you run out of one of these items, please contact us and we will supply more at our discretion.

Just some quick tips to enhance your stay: Bring fishing gear if you enjoy freshwater fishing. A license is needed because it is a public waterway. Fire pit is available if you would like to roast s’mores and dogs, firewood provided. The charcoal grill overlooks the water for grilling. Please bring firewood starter, charcoal, charcoal lighter fluid and your own bic lighter if you plan on using. We do have citronella tiki torches at your lodging; however, you may want to bring mosquito repellent.
